Admittedly I have looked better in pictures.... The skirt has also looked better, as the last flounce is only pinned on, and only partly... But I needed to try the Aminta dress on today, to decide on an eventual additional flounced/scalloped layer in the skirt. I DEFINITELY need another layer, I can tell you that much!

Yes. I AM doing something costume related!

I'm working on a new project which I thought would be spectacular, but so far I'm only moderately happy with it. I don't know if it's the fabric or fitting issues. Will continue to work on it and present it as soon as the ground shape is finished.

I've added yet another layer of pink tulle on the skirt for the Masquerade costume. It's definitely heading in the right direction, and the pink colour is quite pleasant. The current upper layer also have nice glittering "crystals" glued on, so it gives a nice spark. I'll definitely buy more of this fabric for the upper layer. Five metres should do ( Read more... )

Was in London earlier this week. Is now eating carrots and porridge because I spent all my money on theatre tickets for Phantom of the Opera. It was amazing - beyond amazing.
